Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience during my stay at The Hermitage Hotel. While the location offered stunning views of Mt. Cook and the room was clean and comfortable, the dining experience left much to be desired. I paid a premium for a corner room with a balcony that showcased beautiful mountain views, but the overall quality of the room did not match the high price I paid. đ
I had a mixed experience at The Hermitage Hotel. While the amazing view of Mount Cook blew me away, I found some aspects of the hotel to be underwhelming, especially regarding service and dining options. However, the location is unbeatable for enjoying the great outdoors and amazing scenery, making it an overall worthwhile stay.
I had a decent stay at The Hermitage Hotel, but it came with its ups and downs. The stunning views of Aoraki Mt Cook were definitely a highlight, and the room was clean and simple. However, I felt the lack of soundproofing and drawer space really impacted my comfort. Plus, dining was quite pricey given the remote location, which might make you wanna explore other options.
My stay at The Hermitage was largely enjoyable, thanks to the lovely mountain views and friendly service. However, the dining options were limited and pricey, which left me wishing for more variety. I also found the buffet dinners to be underwhelming for the cost. Overall, the location is stunning, but there are some areas for improvement.
The location of The Hermitage Hotel in Aoraki / Mount Cook was truly amazing, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. however, my experience was marred by several disappointing aspects. The service felt impersonal and inefficient, and while I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, it quickly lost its appeal. The room was pleasant but did not meet my expectations for the price I paid.
